Terry Zwigoff, Howard Armstrong and Ted Bogan Q&A at Louie Bluie screening, 1986

I digitized this interview from a cassette tape in the archives at International House Philadelphia. It was recorded at the International House following the Neighborhood Film/Video Project screening of Louie Bluie on May 2, 1986. Filmmaker Terry Zwigoff, Howard Armstrong (Louie Bluie) and Ted Bogan discuss Louie Bluie merch, stories of "pulling doors" throughout the Midwest and South and trade insults with each other. Armstrong, Bogan and James "Sun" Thomas played a concert at International House the following night. A preview of the event appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News wrote two previews

This audio was part of an exhibition I curated titled IHP 79-13, a look back at the history of film at International House through archival materials which ran from January-April 2013. There was an accompanying screening of short films that might also be of interest.
